DESCRIPTION:
香港科技大學物理系及納米材料技術研發所王寧教授和沈平教授所領導的研究小組近日開發出一種新型低成本納米水泵。該裝置採用富含納米管道的多孔氧化鋁薄膜材料﹐以低電壓驅動液流﹐每分鐘流量可自由控制在每平方厘米1-1000微升。該技術工藝簡單﹐生產成本低廉﹐可廣泛應用于藥劑輸液﹐電子墨水顯示屏﹐及微電子器件的微型冷卻系統等。目前﹐該組研究人員已就相關技術申請了一項專利。該項目由香港創新科技署資助。我們竭誠歡迎各廠商垂詢合作。
Technology: The key technology employed in this invention consists
of the fabrication of active porous alumina thin films containing
nano-sized channels. The nano-fluidic flow through the nanochannels
of the alumina thin films is driven by a low electric field.
Advantages: Low electric field driven, wide range of flow rate
control (1-1000 mL/min×cm2), simple processing, low cost
Applications: Drug delivery, e-ink displays, micro-cooling systems
