PROJECT TITLE: 可檢測有毒氣體的納米顆粒 Nanoparticles for Toxic Vapor Sensing

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
香港科技大學化學系唐本忠教授領導的研究小組研發了一種納米顆粒材料製備方法。該種納米顆粒材料在紫外光下發射強螢光﹐但暴露于丙酮或氯肪等有毒氣體時螢光即消失。採用該技術探測有毒氣體具有反應靈敏、可見直觀、簡便易用等優點。我們竭誠歡迎各廠商垂詢合作。
Technology: The key technology employed consists of the fabrication one kind of nanoparticles. Under UV excitation, these nanoparticles are highly emissive (control) but become nonemissive in the presence of vapors of toxic chemicals (e.g., acetone, chloroform…) Advantages: Sensitive, visible, easy to use Applications: Toxic vapor sensing
