The nanobiolabels are fabricated by a high-tech layer-by-layer (LbL) technique. Advantages: - Bioassays amplified minimum 5,000 times - Instant signal available within 1 min - No need of additional instruments - Portable on-site analysis Applications: SuperNova® and SuperSignal® use nanocrystals in ¡§intelligent test tube¡¨ and microsensors. - To detect virus and bacteria in food and blood - To detect pesticides in water and food - To replace the traditional DNA polymerase chain reaction (PCR)
