DESCRIPTION: 香港科技大學化學工程系及納米材料技術研發所余寶樂教授領導的研究小組經過長期研究,研發了應用納米結構催化劑材料淨化工業廢水的技術。該技術可有效地分解廢水中原本穩定不可生物降解的有機污物(如有機染料等)。由於是應用光催化反應,僅生成水和二氧化碳,不會在水中產生附加的化學殘留物。目前,該組研究人員正就相關技術申請一項專利,並與有關廠商合作進行實地測試,以期早日實現商用。該項目由香港創新科技署資助。我們竭誠歡迎各廠商垂詢合作。
可處理有機污物實例: azo 系列染料﹐如﹕橙色II﹐靛藍﹐洋紅等 Novel nanostructured materials
(catalysts) have been developed to remove pollutants in industrial
and municipal waste water. The nanocatalyst is capable of
decomposing chemically stable organic pollutants such as dyes. A
prototype reactor has been developed to incorporate this
nanocatalyst for large-scale applications in industry such as the
textile manufacturing industry. Advantages: Capable of decomposing
non-biodegradable organic pollutants in waste water; complete
mineralization of organics Applications: Industrial and municipal
waste water treatment |
