PROJECT TITLE: Health Monitoring System
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Health Monitoring System is a software system dedicated to medical staff for monitoring and analyzing the vital signs of patients, including temperature, heartbeat rate, and oxygen saturation level. The Health Monitoring System acts as a core component to link with different software modules and networking facilities in order to provide the health data of patients to medical staff at anytime, anywhere. With the use of web-cams, medical staff and patients are able to communicate with each other by video conferencing. Based on the stored and instant data, diagnoses can be made in an accurate and effective manner. Special Features and Advantages: (Maximum 50 words) 1) Collect patients’ health data and store them in a central database 2) Show the data collected in charts 3) Provide patients a detailed list of available doctors nearby 4) Using data mining techniques to analyze patients’ health data to provide alerts if necessary Application(s): (Maximum 50 words) 1) Remote diagnosis for hospital- and clinical-use 2) Health check prior to boarding airplanes in airports 3) Real-time health monitoring and analysis for quarantined persons
