PROJECT TITLE: Data Converter Codec Development
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Analog-to-digital converters (ADC) and digital-to-analog converters (DAC) are key mixed signal blocks that bridge the backend digital signal processing unit and the real physical world. Typical performance needs of ADC in the most important product class today are shown below. ASTRI is developing more efficient and increased bandwidth utilization to achieve an increased conversion throughput, resulting in increased converter resolution, improved noise performance and enhanced linearity for these codecs. ASTRI aims to achieve an increased sampling rate at reduced power consumption.
