PROJECT TITLE: Research and Development of Chinese Medicine Products for Cardiovascular Diseases

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This Project aims to develop three new drugs for cerebral-cardiovascular diseases, specifically on myocardial ischemia/angina and hyperlipidemia. JCM-01021 is a new drug consists of a chemical complex for myocardial ischemia, JCM-01022 is a Fu fang with two active components for modulation of blood lipids, whereas JCM-01023 is a structural modification of a single compound with known efficacy on myocardial ischemia. JCM-01021 has been filed as Investigational new Drug (IND) at the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) of PRC in may 2005. JCM-01022 also will soon be filed as INDs at the SFDA in near future.
