PROJECT TITLE: Active Ingredients Preparation and Single Compound Purification from Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine Trichosanthes and Uses Thereof
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This invention provides novel antianemia ingredients extracted from traditional Chinese herbal medicine Trichosanthes. Said ingredients comprise a single compound with the activity of increasing globin gene expression. This invention provides a method of preparing the ingredients. This invention also provides a method of purifying the compound. Finally, this invention provides various uses of the compound.
